About me
Pearl Yvette Taylor was born September 9th 1984 in Tampa, Fl. At a young age she began her arts and entertainment career singing in the youth choir,playing violin, doing praise dance and passion plays along with hustling handmade jewelry and blowpops on the schoolbus.. That was just the beginning of her entreprenurial endeavors. Soon she transferred to Booker T. Washington Middle Magnet school for International Studies where she began learning French, as well as joined the step team, Drama club, and African dance. After that she was accepted to Blake High School for Performing Arts where she studied Classical Theatre, Childrens theatre, Musical Theatre,Creative Writing, and became a Track and Field champion on 100 and 330 meter hurdles! After doing the "Suzie High School" thing she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and letters in Track and Field, French, and of course Theatre Arts. On her 19th Birthday she relocated to New York City to attend The School for Film and Television. There she studied the Sanford Meisner Acting Technique, voice overs, and recieved vocal training. After SFT she abandoned Manhattan and made her home in 'Do or Die ' Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn to pursue a modeling/acting career. Appearing in commercials and music videos like 'Unpredictible" with Luda and Jamie Foxx, as well as Comedy vingettes for the Country Music Television Awards with Jeff Foxworthy, and FDTv DVD Vol. 1. Between jobs she began freelancing Special FX and Beauty makeup on independent videos and films, and learned the art and frustration of wardrobe design.
Currently working with my vocal coach and going back to the Theatre!
