- Silky Essence The Place to Be -
For those who don't know us yet we were est. 2005. We are a versatile studio specializing in most types of photography (glamour, artistic, swim wear, lingerie, artistic nude, glamour nude). We offer paid photo projects to models that are interested in various types of modeling. We also do TFP arrangements, but we realize that modeling does take time and effort, so even with TFP we issue models payment for their effort. We are easy and friendly to work with, and our deals with models are straight forward, and models are paid upfront before projects begin. We look forward to working with you. Models just to note, we are still doing the famous 'Bump Up' projects. This is when a model has a connecting flight and switches planes in El Paso, Tx.(or possibly re-route to El Paso). When they arrive here, they ask for the next flight available (bump up), to give us about an hour to hour and a half window of time which is pleanty of time to complete (If you paid full fare, there should not be a cost different to change flight times. If you had a discount fare, there may be a partial charge in which we will also cover. We are relatively close to airport, so we start right away, and finish in time to get you back to your flight. I do pay 200 - 350 on the 'Bump up Projects', even through the project is an hour long. They are quick but fun. These projects are mainly for models that want to squeeze in one more paid project on an already booked trip or tour (or maybe they had a cancellation). So, it does work out good for everyone. The reason why 'Bump Up' works good in El Paso is because El Paso is in the middle of lets say, Dallas - LA, or Houston - LA, Miami - LA, etc., etc. So a lot of connecting flights are here. Those who do road trips, is about the same situation. Have done many of them, and they work out really nice for everyone involved. And yes actually in most cases, I would also have your CD copy of Raw Images ready before you leave. I do also book models more than once. I do not have any limit to speak of. If you do 'Bump Up' you also get a free set (100) of business cards. credit cards. Since our travel expense would be less, we can get more goodies for our models. The cards would take up to two weeks (mailed out to you). Is put in model release / contract. Our Rep. is very important to us, so whatever we say is what we do.
We only publish 'nudes' with your consent, and is not required (Pay is the same either way). The more liberal you can be with nude poses, the better, and is why we have the pay range of $200 - $350. But we do have a discussion before shoot starts to make sure we are all on the same page, as to the kind of pictures, and the exact pay.
We would like to thank all Models that we have worked with. There are so many, we can't list them all, and some aren't even on Mayhem. But to the ones that are - a big thanks !!!!!
Just a quick not to upcoming models, due to our busy schedule, we ask that you please stay with your original appointment day, and time, as we will also. Lets all work in a professional manner. Once we make a finalized appointment with you, we will stand by that, and we ask that you do also. (Important) We will contact you the day before the scheduled shoot either here, or by phone to confirm the appointment.
If you do not confirm the day before the scheduled shoot, we will assume that you will not be coming, and we will cancel the project. Unless we can verify the reason that you did not confirm with us (only personal emergencies accepted), we will not rebook your project. Again, we want to work only with those models who are serious about modeling, and are serious about keeping appointments.
We do like to keep an 'ongoing' working relationship with our models. We do prefer to continue to work with models that we have worked with in the past.
