About Me

Visual Artist . Actor . Singer . Dancer & Electronic Music Activist.

Growing up in Toronto, Jeremy surrounded himself with a variety artists, dancers, designers, promoters, DJs and musicians, immersing himself within the electronic music and rave scene from a young age. It was this influence that he credits to shaping his craft. From his visual art portfolio to his personal style, electronic music plays a huge role in his life.

In 2007, Jeremy graduated from Sheridan College with two diplomas. One in Visual Arts and in Performing Arts, which is where he learned the fundamentals of acting. In addition, Jeremy has also graduated from The Second City, for improvisation training and graduated from Sears & Switzer for On Camera Training, TV Voice-Overs, TV Commercials & Scene Study work. Jeremy has been very grateful to be able to study acting with such respectable Canadian film and television mentors such as Simon Longmore, Gloria Mann, Stephanie Gorin, Gail Harvey, Kevin Hartley, Tom Todoroff, and Brian Levy, just to name a few. Right now he is working on promoting his art portfolio and getting more exposure in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal as a visual artist and actor.

Jeremy has worked with vocal experts Christina James (Sheridan College), Louisa Burgess Corbett (Sheridan/ George Brown College), and 2003 Original Canadian Idol Winner, Ryan Malcolm. He has also been dancing for twelve years and has worked with an array of musical talent in music videos for artists such as Shawn Desman ('Nobody Does It Like You' & 'Too Young To Care'), Jesse Labelle ('Easier'), Carmen & Camille, Devine Brown, and Dearly Beloved. He has also worked with the Juno nominated artist Deadmau5 ('Ghost & Stuff') and D-Sisive ('To The Moon' & 'A Little Song For You'). Within the industry, Jeremy has been thankful enough to have worked with creative and inspiring directors such as Marc André Debruyne, Kyle Kofsky, Alex Colthart and Andy Wood. His model credits include: Tristian Style, Gap, Guess Jeans, Kolor Shades, Government of Ontario 'Summer Company' ad campaign ( 2010 & 2011), Fairies Pajamas (Kensington Market, Toronto), Trojan Condoms 'Naked Sensations', Hastens Beds, Almost Naked Clothing, J-Com Clothing, ethical dance wear Me to We Style and The Fall Clothing show '09 (Toronto). Jeremy has been involved with Fashion Art Toronto (F.A.T.) Week from 2010 to 2016 (excluding 2014 when he was in Vancouver studying acting), both on the catwalk rockin' alternative fashions from around the world, and helping out with backstage productions and crew set-up.

On January 14th, 2013, Jeremy joined ACTRA by landing his first role as a union actor on the hit Canadian Sci Fi TV series Orphan Black. On July 9th, 2013, he earned his second Actra credit by appearing as the lead zombie in a commercial for the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and Royal Bank of Canada. Jeremy's hard work continued to pay off when Simon Longmore, founder of the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts (VADA), approached him and awarded him the highest scholarship to come and train at his Dramatic Arts Program at VADA studios in September 2013.While living in Vancouver, Jeremy walked as a model in the second annual Vancouver Alternative Fashion Week (VALT2013) for Shay Lhea, the well-known steampunk mask designer and her 'Oculto Mask' collection.

While training at VADA studios, in order to maintain his scholarship and reduce Vancouver living expenses, in the span of six months, Jeremy moved around to five different living arrangements. In October 2013, he ended up living in a vintage, retro 60s RV located in Olympic Village for 28 days. He lived in a solar-powered RV with no running water, no heat, and no built-in bathroom. He used the experience to drive his passion for the love of the craft. On March 7, 2014, Jeremy graduated from VADA and moved back to Toronto.

On his days off in the summertime, Jeremy loves to travel rural and northern Ontario and Montreal attending 4-day long electronic music festivals such as Om Festival, World Electronic Music Festival (W.E.M.F.), Digital Dreams, Teknival, Harvest Festival, and his home away from home at Eclipse (Montreal). He hopes to one day go on spiritual pilgrimages to places such as Shambhala (B.C.), Lightning in a Bottle (Silverado, CA), BOOM Festival  (Portugal), Ozora (Hungary), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), and his dream vacation to Burning Man (Nevada desert). Jeremy loves to use his creative skill set and create set designs for Promise Parties, when they throw their electronic music events, and also frequents their annual Cherry Beach Sunday summer events. He also loves to continuously support Toronto arts & culture gatherings such as Gay Pride, Freedom Festival, Beats Breaks & Culture at the Harbourfront Centre (discontinued), The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibit, Doors Open Toronto, and has attended every Nuit Blanche from 2006 to 2016.

Since June 2014, Jeremy has been studying alongside Lewis Baumander to further develop and strengthen his on camera acting presence and techniques. As of recently, Jeremy has begun blogging for art and culture events around the city. He was featured on the Gladstone Hotel's "Up and Coming Visual Artist" blog, where he writes about his influences and work.
