I Appreciate All Of The Kind Words Here.
Now On To The Bio:
In the last thirty years, I have built an internationally-
known clientele for my San Diego-based photography studio Covey Media.
Specializing in people and animal photography for fashion, catalog, & advertising. My work has evolved from traditional photography to a new style of work that incorporates photographs into electronic images. I was drawn to the magic of computer manipulation as quickly and intensely as I originally fell under the spell of darkroom magic when I was 10 years old.
Today, my studio is completely digital.
Cameras, video, computer workstations, and a "digital" darkroom.
My work now includes full media services, design for album covers, video boxes, packaging, web design, video, and animation.
All of my work runs through the computer at some point.
Be it for retouching and manipulation, or preparation for press or web.
All of the disciplines have converged and I'm right here in the middle of it.
Other creative ventures include creating private commissions
output as acrylic on canvas, seminars demonstrating all of these new processes, "sculpting" the human figure into the 3rd dimension with lifecasting and creating fine art canvas editions.
