I'm not interested in mainstream stuff unless there is a dark edge, or an inner 'truth' to it that you can read in the subtext. While not all inner truths are "dark" they're the ones I find most interesting. Outside of its technical finesse commercialism doesn't interest me at all. I've always been more interested in the unexplored, or unspoken secrets of humanity than in what's presented on the surface so that has led me to create material in the fetish horror genre.
When all is said and done all of this work is about 'imagination'; imagined situations in imagined worlds. Sometimes those worlds are fantastical - sometimes they are mundane.
I want to explore the ways we use our imaginations to make the mundane interesting and dangerous, sexy and exciting.
Ask me if I'm enjoying this...
