Hi there,
Life is funny. We set some silly rules and try to live by it. For example
You can SEE but you can’t TOUCH.
You can TOUCH but you can’t HOLD.
You can HOLD but you can’t HAVE.
You can HAVE but you MUST RETURN and so on and so forth.
I am not interested in the mundane images that you see day in and day out of your everyday lives. I like to think out of the box and like to work with model and MUAs who do the same. At least try and think in the same direction.
We have learned to live with these silly rules to the point we invent silly terms like ‘Sweet n Sour’, ‘Black n White’, Up n Down’ etc etc.
And similarly we have learned to like things that are hidden, out of reach, with a touch of mystery, with a touch of danger etc etc. And this is why we tend to like the “rose on a thorny bush’, ‘wild orchid’, ‘food behind the glass counter’, ‘gift wrapped chocolate’ and similar items.
Most my images have the above mystic,

, and hidden element in them.
When I do a shoot I end up with at least one image that I really like. If there is more than one then I pick the best. I print this on canvas leave some areas as there are, and then paint over the rest of the image using fine oils. My painting is always spoken for before it is completed.
Thank again for visiting this page .
PS:
I will be travelling to NSW & QLD ( Australia) frequently during the first half of 2009.
I would like to meet/work with creative Models & MUA’s who could help enhance my work (with new ideas and themes) and maybe help me paint another masterpiece. If you are that person please drop me a line. Tks
