My name is Lisa Jn Marie and I was born on the tiny island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. As a young girl I always found myself redesigning my clothing, sewing with my mom and enjoying the custom made dresses she always had made for my sister and I. It was not until 2000 when I graduated from high school that I realized my natural talent as a clothing designer. It was then I began experimenting with fabric and crafts.
During my first two years in college I began taking fashion related classes and realized how much I really enjoyed it. My love for fashion has grown every single day and my goal is to become a well-know fashion designer especially producing exclusive couture gowns. Also I want to use my success one day to give back to a charity or foundation dedicated to helping children in need all over the world.
After I graduated from college in May 2008 with my BA in Clothing and Textile Design, I have worked hard to get my name and fashion out there. There are so many things that inspire me such as my culture, red carpet events, Hollywood glam and music.
