Hi, I'm CARiSSA StAR. I'm 23, and from the NYC/NJ area. I am 100% Italian and I believe I have a very marketable and ethnic look. I have been modeling for a few years now, and have had the opportunity to do both print & runway, as well as acting on many different occassions. Below I’ve complied a handy dandy little list to get an idea of what I can offer you as a model. I am interested in Fashion, Artistic with style, Glamour, Swimwear, Maxim/FHM, Bright, Colorful, and Editorial shoots.
- My hair is extremely long and naturally blonde... but i am willing to color/cut it for the right project with enough notice.
(currently naturaly blonde - waist length)
- I can do my own makeup up very well ... so a makeup artist is not needed. But I can also sit down, shut up and let your make up artist do her or his magic.
-I have two very small tattoos (one on the back of my neck and one on upper left corner of back) i AM WiLLiNG TO COVER THEM UP OR HAVE THEM PHOTOSHOPPED OUT..... thanks for asking !
-I also have my nose, monroe, labret, tongue, & top and bottom of my belly button pierced... I AM ALSO WILLING TO TAKE THEM OUT OR HAVE THEM PHOTOSHOPPED FOR THE SHOOT!
--->*Compensation*
*T.F.P. SHOOTS: Although I am not doing very many T.F.P. shoots these days, I am willing to do TFP/CD with selected photographers. However if you have a really cool idea, I'm always open to hearing about it ... so it never hurts to send a message. If you are outside of NYC and would like to shoot T.F.P. I ask that you compensate for traveling expenses. I also would like rights to submit some of the photos to magazines, galleries, etc. You will always have full credit for photos. The only other thing I ask is that if YOU submit something to a gallery, magazine, etc.. I would like to know about it and get a copy.
I am willing to travel if expenses are paid for.
-I will NOT shoot nude TFP.-
*PAID SHOOTS: Rates will depend on the project, length of time, and if I will get to use images afterwards or not. If you are outside of NYC, I ask that you help with travel in addtion to my rates. Message me so we can work out somthing we are both happy with.
- I AM very comfortable with girl/girl and guy/girl artistic & implied nude photoshoots. If you are interested in using me for this type of work please send a very detailed e-mail with exactly what it is you want to shoot and a list of all other people who will be present at the shoot. Please note: Compensation a Must for these type of assignments.
*CLOTHING SHOOTS: Always more than willing to work with both up and coming and established clothing designers ! In most cases I can do shoots for clothing -or- T.F.C. I also design my own clothes so if you would like to trade that is acceptable as well. So be sure to drop me line !
--->Availability
Please be patient as I get several requests a day and thank you for you interest! If you have any work that you are interested in having me model for please do not wait until the last minute and ask me to fly across the country. I do have a life outside of modeling, I do require/ask that you give me at minimum, a two week advance notice on any work.
--->Escort
I reserve the right to have my escort present at all photoshoots. This is not only for my safety but it also enables me to be much more relaxed during the shooting process. In most cases the photographers are very honest and very respecting, but one must be smart. My escort knows all details of the shoot before hand, and knows the ethics of the business. My escort has been with me for every shoot and respects the artistic rights and boundaries of the photographer. Additionally, I do check references before I do any shoot. I may reserve the right to ask for contact information of (2 or more) models for reference verification. If you object to any of this, then do not bother asking me to do a shoot. It's that simple.
*As a side note : An assistant attends most shoots with me .*

I am seeking photographers that are very talented, honest, committed to their models as much as their work, respectful, and have good ethics in general. I do not like being around crude, lewd, obnoxious, or forward individuals. I look for high quality work when I evaluate a potential job/shoot. If you are good and well versed then your portfolio will depict this.
