I am Lauren Gurski, a licensed makeup artist and esthetician and have worked as a professional makeup artist for over ten years. I am a recognized Pro Makeup Artist with over 30 makeup companies, including MAC, Kett, Temptu, OCC, Tarte, Stila, Naked, and many more. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO AIRBRUSH. I have been a licensed makeup artist since the age of 18 and I am graduate of Yvonne de Vilar Scientific Skincare Institute and am also a practicing esthetician. I make a major investment in my education for skincare and for makeup artistry - I have studied with Emmy award winning makeup artists studying specifically makeup application for HD photography and film with traditional makeup application as well as airbrush application. I live here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina working my butt off 5 months of the year and taking it easy the rest of the time =-) I absolutely love to play makeup - its like being PAID TO "COLOR IN A COLORING BOOK - BUT 3D". I primarily work with in the bridal beauty business world, but would love to do other types of projects, especially getting the chance to work with other makeup artists and learn all their tricks of the trade as well as work on building my portfolio and creative artistry talents with photographers.
