I love to photograph people, be it in the studio or on location. I started out shooting new and up and coming music artists, using a mix of live and portraiture photography. I love the work of LaChapelle, Testino, Leibovitz, Rankin, Weston but I'm equally passionate about the work of Cartier-Bresson, Avedon, Bourdin, Brandt; to name a few. As you can probably tell, I take inspiration from a variety of sources and what they have in common is how each photographer has used light in their images to draw the viewer in - be it LaChapelle's use of bright, vibrant colours that just knock you out, or Brandt's high key lighting. I'm now focused on developing my portfolio to include fashion and beauty shots as well as music and portraiture. Right now I'm looking to assist prominent fashion and beauty, portraiture and music photographers, whilst at the same time test with MUAs, stylists and models.
