I am a professional photographer, based in the Boston area, who works to create unique and on-the-edge styled images. My
Damsels-in-Distress themes range from the traditional
Perils of Penelope scenarios -- like the damsel tied to the tracks or the damsel trapped in quicksand -- to more avant garde styles, particularly those involving snakes, spiders and other creatures. No nudity involved, implied or otherwise.
Upcoming Themed Shoots
For Fall, I'll be working on the following themed work:

Deadly Traps: Following along with the "Saw" movies, I will be developing a variety of scenarios where our damsel finds herself in a rather "challenging" situation - man-made traps designed to punish, and also to "absolve"...[/b]

The Lonely Forest: A series of vignettes exploring the dark, primeval nature of forests and woods: banshees, evil wood sprites, "living" trees, etc.

Nursery Rhyme Characters in Peril : A playful series of stories - picture "Little Miss Muffet" caught in a giant spider web; or "Little Bo Peep" being attacked by one of her sheep!

"Dark Holidays": Looking to create some "dark comedy" styled themes related to the holidays, like an X-mas tree attacking a damsel as she is decorating it; a turkey holding an axe above a damsel's head; a jack-o-lantern chewing on the arm of a trick or treater...
In some cases, I'll be posting casting calls for these shoots, in others, I'll simply be inviting certain models. Feel free to message me if you are interested in a given theme.
General Information
I offer models and actresses the opportunity to express emotions not typically seen in photographs on this site, or any other modeling site.
My work is collaborative in nature -- I enjoy creating the scene and look with input from everyone involved: model, MUA, stylist, etc. If you have a particular look in mind, let me know.
Most of my work related to this theme is paid: rates vary, but are in the range of $20 to $50 per hour, depending on the scenario, difficulty of the scene, and attire.
The safety of a model is the highest priority for me - despite what these photos portray!! Feel free to ask any model who has worked with me for a reference.
Models/actresses are free to bring along a friend to any shoot. I want the model to feel relaxed and comfortable--we both get a better set of images that way.
