I am happy to work on a "time for image" basis (aka TF* or tests), but in a specific way. This applies to models, wardrobe stylist, makeup artist, hair stylist, and many other creative types. A TF* work starts with a good concept, and then recruit people necessary for the project. Sometimes, I develop the concept, and other times, stylist, model, or someone else develops it and I'm sold on the ideas. Key ingredients of a successful TF* project are: (1) good idea (2) desire for high quality work (3) being determined and enthusiastic (4) good communication.
If you and I are sold on the idea, and we have the positive energy to make it work, I don't anticipate any problem in recruiting other good people for the project.
If you have a idea of what you like to achieve, and suggest what aspect of talent/resource you can contribute to the project, I am much more inclined to take your proposal. Model Mayhem has been great for me to experiment with new idea, keep myself motivated and broaden my portfolio, and I'm here just for this purpose!!
