Originally from Holland, Michigan... but have been living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. I visit Holland about 4 times a year.

There are lots of people out there that have purchased a camera, taught themselves the basic technical functions, and labeled themselves as photographers.
For me, it has always been about creating art. I have been expressing my artistic abilities across many different mediums throughout the years. Whether it was illustrating, airbrushing, graphic design, animation, visual effects or motion graphics... it was always about creating. Putting something out into the world that didn't exist before. And at the same time, encouraging people to stop, look and think when they see the work I've done.
I feel that portrait photography has opened a door for me to create art, while involving other people directly in the process. It allows me to use my imagination, but also take into consideration someone else's unique perspective to give them something that is designed specifically for them.
If you are in the Pittsburgh area, drop a line and maybe we can line up a shoot. I prefer to communicate through email, only because I like to have written documentation of all communication.
Models are encouraged to bring an escort to the shoot with them. But please make sure that escorts are professional and non intrusive to the shoot!
