Goals: have fun, meet nice folks, create cool images :-)
Looking for photographers, models, MUAs, stylists in the Boston area who are at the same level or slightly above to learn with. It's important to have a good *team* to get a great shot or concept done.
Currently looking to do TFCD/TFP (I get them sent out in 1-3 weeks depending on how many models are at the shoot), but if you want to pay me I'm ok with it:-)
For TF* group shoots, I usually do 40-60 frames per model, then whittle this down to 10-20 good photos (after color/contrast/cropping) to send you to review and on CD, then choose the two best (or let you choose them if possible) and postprocess them (skin fixes, tucks if needed, edit out background stuff that's distracting like branches, pipes, rocks, add special effects, etc. which take 1-4hrs per photo) to get images that are worthy of putting in your portfolio; of these two, I choose the best one to stick in my portfolio. I strongly believe in quality over quantity.
Types of shoots preferred are fashion/beauty/glam (mostly exploring "fashion" currently) but open to trying other genres to see what interests me. Look at the lists below for what I'd like to work on and what inspires me. The photographers on MM that inspire me include Andrew Kung, KESLER, Alex Lim, and Stephen Eastwood.
Current state of my heavier location setup:
- Strobes - check (B1600s)
- wireless remotes - check
- lightstands - check
- beauty dish - check though it'd be nice to get a lighter one
- beauty dish bag - pending
- lightstand bag - pending
- PLM - pending
- softbox - check
- portable power - check

p.s., some folks have been wondering what SKITA stands for....Swift Kick In The A** if you're a 70's Show fan. I put together a joke business card to have some fun w/ a wedding pro friend after he gave me a hard time for shooting 2nd as a non-pro at my brother's wedding because he doesn't have business cards ;-)
Gold Paint on Black Paint :)
Thanks for the love :)

The pleasure of shooting was all mine! And your guy's lighting equipment is impressive! You and Vlad made for a fun shooting; the numbing cold might have compromissed the last few photos, but I'm really glad we got to squeeze in a few snaps before it got even chillier!
