I'm surprised you'd say that you're stuff is technically excellent and way better than most who would claim to be technically adept! Re: dropping cams, I was in Long Beach with a brand new cam not even a month old. Talking to a model/actress in the bar on the Queen Mary hotel (former ocean liner) and just holding my cam in both hands. Thought it was safe. She turned to a friend, pointed me out to her, then dropped her hand... right between my two hands. New camera, expensive 18-200mm lens, straight to the steel deck plate of the Queen Mary. Fortunately all that happened was the UV filter was bent out of shape. Phew...!

Hey A.R. - Looking forward to it! Re: your question about processing on that one shot, that's an High-Dynamic Range shot. I asked the guys to stand real still and then shot three exposures in quick succession. Then I combined them in Photomatix and did some general touch-up post-processing (a tone mapping, contrast and light, desautrated slightly, and a pass of Unsharp Mask to sharpen edges. Some of the shots worked, but in others one of the two would move or other items would. There's a new filter out for PS called "Topaz" which does something similar but only requires a single shot to do it.
