I have taken photos since I was a young teenager. I realized that my passion for photography grew on me in college. I studied at Fashion Institute of Technology for advertising and took some photography courses. It was there I made the decision to change my major. The rest is history. I've also studied at ICP (International Center of Photography) and Photo Manhattan. Due to todays changing technology I continue to study to keep up with the times.
I'm called JR by my mom who has pushed me and supported me throughout my life. I'm forever grateful of my mom. I often used my siblings mostly my sisters to practice my photography skills.
I consider myself a pro-amateur photographer.
