Greetings, I am a member of The Association of Lifecasters International (ALI) (ALI is an organization of professional and amateur life casting artists and sculptors). I currently live in Maine with my family, but have traveled far and wide, on the seas, as a proud member of the United States Navy.
I began doing life casting 5 years ago and have been working on building my expertise and skills in this compelling art form. My passion for this art form is taking me on an interesting journey, and I'm enjoying it. I am mostly self taught but recently studied with the renowned life caster Dave Parvin in Colorado.
Through MM, I hope to get feedback on my work; build up my portfolio; and meet models who are interested in working with this new medium.
Surprisingly, most people don't know much about this art form. Below, I have pasted a brief description of what life casting is.
If your interested in working with me you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
"A bodycasting, also called life casting, or body sculpture, is a detailed impression of a part of your body, which is then cast in plaster or other material to make a lifelike, life-size, realistic sculpture of your body. It can be made from almost any part of your body: face mask or face portrait, belly button, boobs, neck and cleavage, back, bum, belly, even pregnant belly, your hand or feet or any other part of your body... even your entire body. It can include elements of clothing."
