I'm a Scottish-born photographer operating in and around New York City, but willing and able to travel. I am always looking to work with innovative fashion designers, inspirational models and creative teams.
As of 01/12 I am part of the editorial team of TAPE, a new fashion magazine due to launch in March 2012.
I am primarily a film photographer. Ektar 100 and the new Portras (especially Portra 160) have made me leave digital behind except for occasions when a client demands it (and in which case a DSLR will be rented). 90% of the time I use a Mamiya RZ67 medium format camera, as well as assorted 35mm, Polaroid and toy/disposable cameras.
FASHION WORK: I prefer to work with models with agency measurements (5' 8" and taller, size 0-4, cup size 34C or smaller, comfortable with nudity), this is no slight on shorter models, it's merely my preference for fashion work.
BEAUTY WORK: Requirements are great hair, great skin and cheekbones to die for!
From time to time I'll embark on other projects where I'll look for a specific look, this can be anything from a 5' tall heavily tattooed Rocker chick to a 6' tall androgynous editorial model. feel free to drop me a line and introduce yourself!

Trade/TFP shoots: I trade either for a guaranteed tearsheet with agency-signed models, or female sensuality themes which may feature nudity. I do charge a nominal fee to cover film development costs, nothing that will break the bank.
