Full website details:
http://www.bdfoto.co.uk/ - non-nude, dance, architecture and miscellaneous
http://www.bd-company.co.uk/ - artistic / erotic / fetish nude
http://www.bd-shop.co.uk - calendar, poster and fine-art print sales
I work almost exclusively with female models, (having hired just one male model in the past two years.)
I undertake commissioned dance, glamour, fetish, sports, calendar and fine art print work, erotic / artistic / glamour / fetish nude photo sets for major websites and commercial work. I regularly need suitable female models for publication normally on a paid basis, and also offer syndication and royalty share. I always try to be clear in my castings about what I need.
The remainder of my work is largely dance, artistic and erotic nude for speculative publication and for my own website.
I especially like working with female models who are classically trained dancers.
I limit TF work to testing models who specifically meet my current and prospective future requirements at the above levels. I use TF to test models for future syndication, publication and paid work.
If YOU advertise a TF casting on this site, then please do not suddenly change that and expect me to pay you or your travelling expenses from a TF casting. Please remember you can claim travelling expenses in your tax return, even for TF work.
If I am going to work with you, I expect as much from you as you would expect from me. I respect my models and I hope that is evident from the testimonials they have given to me.
THIS NEXT BIT IS VERY IMPORTANT. I have arthritic thumbs; I do not use SMS text except in an emergency. (I type with my fingers).
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE communicate with me by PHONE AND MAINSTREAM EMAIL over shoot requirements, be prepared, arrive on time, but still have fun. I normally shoot 50 minutes and take break - we both need it. I welcome chaperones although I find most experienced models do not expect to have a chaperone present. All I do ask is - please, not the boyfriend, unless you have asked me in advance! I always confirm shoots by phone the day before we are due to meet.
Comments:
All fees are paid by bank transfer - my accountant insists - no exceptions.
I no longer list all models I have worked with. There are just too many.
I do accept commissions from models for portfolio work. Please enquire for rates.
STUDIO HIRE FACILITIES
=================
I run The Studio in The South Downs National Park in the middle of a large privately owned estate - see
http://www.bdfoto.co.uk and click on Studio.
Location:
Exactly where it says it is - close to the A24 and A27 main roads, and within an easy drive from the M23, M25, A23, M27, A3M and M3. It's comfortably accessible from the M4 (Newbury / Chieveley) and the Dartford Crossing. It is 6 miles from the nearest railway station (Arundel, Angmering or Goring-by-Sea).
The premises:
Converted farm workshop 1620 sq ft (153 sq metres);
Infinity curve 21' (about 7.3 metres) wide with double doors street level drive-in for vehicle and machinery photography;
Boudoir set;
Domestic set;
Grunge set;
Satellite broadband;
Changing and make-up facilities;
Shoot down on all sets;
Toilet in same building (but you have to go outside for about five metres).
The equipment:
Seven flash heads (two high power Bowens, five smaller);
Two high power continuous lighting video heads;
Eight soft boxes;

Model Register:
I will be maintaining a model register and already have several models who will be available regularly. I will also be running model studio days and applications are welcome from any model who would like to do this. Full details on request.
The surroundings:
Straight out into the beautiful Sussex countryside with plenty of seclusion;
Nearby stables;
Plenty of free parking;
24/7 security (and never a theft) with PIR high powered external lighting and estate staff lving on site;
The extras:
Free:
Charity group shoot for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice (definitely a Sunday), some time in the early Summer - attendees will also be offered the 15% hire discount for three months after the day. There will normally be two such charity days per year.
Access to my library of over 1,000 digital studio backgrounds on the computer.
Email access -log in as a guest via my laptop - it's a satellite broadband system and needs special software.
Tea, coffee and Hobnobs
Chargeable:
Model days two or three times a month of which at least one will be a weekend;
Access to an extensive wardrobe, properties and scenery through a local theatrical group;
Unusual vehicles, including a fully restored 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe on a hire in basis;
Camera hire for those who forget to bring one - my spare Canon 350D
Space heater in exceptionally cold weather
The down side:
It's a farm building - it will get cold in the Winter although we are insulating and heating it - but it is bone dry;
It's aimed at the budget end of the market; so some flash heads are not instant re-fire.
