The truth is I was browsing online and I came across my own work of model (Jessica Culp) and thought Model Mayhem would be a great way to network and get clients if I posted more of my work here. My style is something I think is still being refined but I can tell you I like surrealism, adding realistic elements to a surreal world or environment. I’m pretty open to new things and styles. I think we as artists never stop learning. There are some out there who may think they are the best at what they do but personal tastes in art always change and you never know what flavor people are going to go for tomorrow!
If you want to work with me send me an email Splinter1.david@gmail.com or at work where I spend most of my time dtucker@lsijax.com
I work as a Full time Multi-Media Artist for a company here in Florida called IDS Sports.
I earned my Bachelors in Fine Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I majored in Sequential Illustration and I have another degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design. I was a Guest Editor at FHM Magazine in New York City in 2004. I was only there for a short time but I won the chance to work with them from some of my model photography.
Since then I have been published with the UFC and the Fight Network, GX Magazine, Maxim Evan Williams Contest) and several other local and independent publications. This list doesn’t include the illustrative or ad work that I have done. That seems to be endless!
When I’m not at work or in front of my computer I like to be in front of my camera then back in front of my computer working on pictures of models. I think my work and style is a little different than some of what is out there because I like to add elements to my photography using my illustration and design skills. I wouldn’t say I have mastered digital compositing or Photoshop but I am getting pretty good at it.
My goal in life is to just do as much as I can in art. We can never stop learning! If you like my style, feel free to contact me. Most of my work is on my new website
www.davidtuckerdesign.com or on deviant art.
