Who Am I?
I am a photographer and graphic artist based out of Philadelphia , PA. Over the past year I have traveled extensively throughout the continental US, however, I typically do most of my work on the east coast and spend a great deal of time in the Northeast. I characteristically tend to choose different locations as settings, as opposed to backdrops. I feel they add much more to the creativity and overall realism of the finished photo. As the great photographer Helmut Newton once was quoted, "A woman does not live in front of white paper."
I take considerable pride in my work and never settle for mediocrity. Capturing an irreplaceable fragment of time and turning it into an unforgettable image is my passion. Countless hours are spent planning locations, compositions, designs, setting up lighting, taking notes and producing the best pictures (post production) for my clients. Whether my clients want a soft and brightly lit photograph or a dark, gritty and sensual one, I am more than capable. I have vast experience and my style and ability to adapt and change to each individual’s tastes and requests is very unique.
As strange as it sounds, most of my inspiration comes from music. I do not watch much TV but listen to music regularly. It is then, that I conjure up images in my head, whether it be a certain perspective and angle, or an all out graphic manipulation. With the help of my HTC EVO smart phone, I can now take notes and save my thoughts brought on by my favorite songs. I used to take notes in a journal, but as technology advances, so do I!
Some of my work has been published in several magazines including cover shots and feature spreads.
