The Basics
I'm Aaron Siegel, a 28 year old fashion/glamour photographer based out of the North Denver metro area. I shoot on a professional basis as a hobby turned career - I focus on the fashion/glamour market right now. (I've been known to do the occasional portrait/family shoot & a wedding here and there... but I stick to the core for the most part!)
I shoot on the Canon dSLR platform exclusively, although I'm working on expanding into the medium-format arena here in the coming months to add some sizzle to things!
What I’m Looking to Accomplish
It's pretty simple, really! I want to take
GREAT photographs and work with people who love their craft as much as I love mine! You can see it in the finished product when a model and photographer get out and enjoy themselves, rather than having just "another shoot." I treat every shoot of mine as my top priority and try to take the photos to the next level... no half-baked stuff here.
About My “Style”
Since I entered the modeling arena, I've found myself leaning towards a more mainstream/commercial style… pictures that you'd be proud of seeing gracing the pages of a national magazine, not something you'd rather hope you never see again. My portfolio here pretty well displays the types of shoots I enjoy and get the best results from.
My focus is on fashion, glamour and comp card type portraiture… no pornography here. I'm a professional in all regards and have no problem at all with you bringing someone to the shoot. If you're looking for a GWC, you'll have to go elsewhere.

FAQ: "Do You Shoot TFP/CD?"
Yes, sort of. I require that the model have some investment in the shoot, because no matter how many times I've been promised that someone will show up, "something" comes up. So, I ask that either a professional MUA be retained by the model for any TFP shoots, or that a deposit is made for the studio time, which will be refunded to you when you come to the shoot. That way, if something comes up, I don't end up paying for empty studio space, let alone my time...

(Sorry I have to be like that, but I've paid so much for empty space in the last couple of months that I could have bought a new camera trinket or two!!)
For my TF shoots, I provide web-ready images for your portfolio along with retouched JPEGs that are suitable for printing to 5x7" sizes… I do have a commercial printer that I use for larger print work if there's a print you end up loving. (And they're actually affordable!

)
Finally, I do require a signed commercial model release for all TF work… which I'm happy to provide you before we finalize a shoot! (If you aren't wanting to sign a commercial release, my rates are definitely reasonable and well worth the investment.)
FAQ: "Do You Pay Your Models?"
I only pay models that I have worked with before or personally contact to shoot on one of my current portfolio projects or for commercial clients. If you are interested in working with me on paid shoots, see the section above about setting up a test shoot so we can get to know each other and make sure we'd be a good fit!
FAQ: "Do You Do X, Y, or Z?"
Just e-mail me with what you’re thinking of and I’ll do everything I can to make it happen for you!
