I have been involved in the field of photography for more than forty years.  On course to becoming a professional photographer while in college, I was sidetracked into a career in medicine. Retiring after a highly successful career as a Family Practitioner, I left my private medical practice in 2004, to pursue my passion for photography.

I enjoy exploring the creative use of light in photography and developing my ability to look at and perceive everyday surroundings in new and different ways.   My focus is on photographing people.  I strive to find the unique look each person can deliver and capture some of their personality.  Your look, your personality, and most of all, your emotions are most important.  I am also very interested in helping to bring visions and ideas to life.  I appreciate the opportunity to network through this site and meet models who wish to create new works of art for their portfolios.

I particularly like photographing people in their natural environment and then applying new artistic techniques to view the subjects in different ways.   I'm looking for real, salt of the earth type people!  I like artists, dancers, people with colorful personalities, people that stand out in a crowd, and people that are just plain comfortable in front of a camera.  I want to tell a story with your photo that can be told to the world!  If that's you, let's start taking pictures!

I am a professional; it takes hours of time to plan, schedule, and execute a theme for a photo-shoot.  It is costly for me to order supplies, buy props, and hire ancillary personnel.  I now require a cell phone number to reach you at and confirmation the day prior, that you will be at the shoot.  You must also bring photo identification with you to the shoot, so that a model release can be properly executed.

I have no problems with an escort or friends coming along for a shoot, just please let me know in advance.  All I ask is that they are not a distraction or do not cause problems with any of the work we are trying to accomplish.

I obtained my degree in photography from The New York Institute of Photography. I am a member of the American Association of Media Photographers and the Professional Photographers of America.
