I'm an advanced photographer with a favor for artistic projects. The practice of life drawing and a variety of complementary body art media has enhanced my photography capabilities. Modeling has also improved my photography; so much learned from the other side of the lens and canvas, and as the canvas. My partner Angela Rene' Roberts is a world-renowned makeup artist and body painter. We both also produce, teach, and model for others.
We occasionally produce fine art gallery shows, live installations, performance art events, and teach special interest workshops. We also enjoy simply contributing to the art productions of others. Our supporting roles are occasionally within large productions. Events with adverse lighting conditions and the capture of high-speed performance action highlights are a photography service specialty. The ideal posture for a fashion design on the runway requires the same skill as capturing the peak moment of a dancer's fouetté or grand jeté. Boudoir and fine-art commissions are common and welcome. Past photography service experience includes weddings, product, graduations, birth, and whatever else clientele could talk us into. Most of which we now avoid or refer to well-respected peers.
Model development, image management, compcard design, portfolio enhancement and updates are a healthy portion of our active business scope. Scouting assistance for film, TV, theater, music videos, workshops, classrooms, runway shows, conventions, art projects, entertainment venues, web productions, and promotional campaigns with an artistic edge, is a common service provided as well. We are often able to provide extreme talents and obscure capabilities for challenging roles. We do not provide talent agent or management services that would constitute an unethical conflict of interest with our production services. We collaborate well with legitimate talent agencies but do not associate with pay-to-play schemes or false agencies that prey on aspiring models. We operate a not-for-profit regional trade association called the Acadiana Models Guild to provide education, protection, and other betterment-of-industry activities for our local modeling community. We are currently aligning more deeply with the New Orleans Models Guild.
