Hi there thank you for viewing my page!
I'm a Make-Up Artist in training. I have completed a year in Theatrical & Media Make-Up at James Watt College, Greenock.
For the next two years I will be studying hairdressing at Cardonald College, Glasgow and afterwards go on to study HNC/HND Fashion make-up at Clydebank Clydebank.
I have already been involved in various different
Theatrical Performances including;
'The Sword & The Stone'
'Our Town'
'Boogie Nights'
I have also worked with film makers on the production of
the music video 'So Spaced Out' by JME Soul
and the movie 'Red Sally'
I like to get involved with as many projects as I can including films, music videos hallowe'en make-up and pretty much anything I can get my hands on.
On completion of HNC/HND Fashion make-up I have plans to move to London to become recognised as a MUA there. When I am recognised as a make-up artist in my own country I will progress to New York

I would be very interested, but affraid I have no way of making it to glasgow lol, I dont drive so it would be the train, and it would cost a bomb for me to make it there for a TF shoot, also would need to organise it with my work if it is as short notice as I think.....

This is Jessica from J Model Management (www.jmodelmanagement.co.uk). We are having a grand fashion show this coming 13 June 09 in Birmingham's most prestigious night club Gatecrasher (www.gatecrasher.com/birmingham).
The event will have massive media coverage from Birmingham Mail and Sunday Mercury newspapers, Style magazine, Inside Magazine, 24-7 Live magazine, and Touchbase magazine. The fashion show will present the clothes from many international brands like Karen Millen, Vera Wang, Kookai, Preview, and will be choreographed by international movement director Robert Downer, known for his work in Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein Fashion Show, and the Hollywood production Bring it on 2. The VIPs including more than 30 professional photographers from all over the country and managers of big department stores including Selfridges, Debenhams, and House of Fraiser. As we have quite a number of professional models doing the catwalk, we are giving the opportunity for UK freelance makeup artists to be part of the show. You will have a chance to
- Gain publicity via media coverage
- Receive professional photos of your models on the runway
- Have your name and website promoted on J Fashion Show website
- Network with professionals in Fashion Industry
It will be TF* based but will be so much more beneficial than those you have done before.
If interested, please send your details together with your portfolio. Each makeup artist will do makeup for 2 models. There will be 5 times changes of makeup style
The deadline for participation request is by Thursday 4nd June 09.
