Mended Mosaic was founded in 2008 by Chicago natives KC and Louie Mendicino. For years, KC sat behind the hum of a sewing machine, with the assistance of her greatest mentor - her mother. Beginning creations were small vests for festivals, corsets, then bellydancing costuming, pants, and more.  When KC and Louie met, he put his handiwork to the needle as well. After an overwhelming response to their handmade wares, they launched their creativity into the bigger picture.

Fashion for these two is a balance between function and desire. Mended Mosaic is about being able to be who you are, with taste and style. Mended Mosaic is the jacket you reach for everytime, your go-to jacket, and something that when you put it on: it just feels like you.


We have joing Model Mayhem with the hopes of collaborating with like minded artists for new artistic photoshoots and opportunities to expand our portfolio. Our business has recently taken on a huge undertaking where we have redefined what we are passionate about and interested in creating. With this evolution, we are wanting to meet the right models and people with the same vision to present our company artistically the same way that we feel it.
