Thanks for the comments. No, it's just careful blending and burning. HDR seems like too much effort for me! Normal 'darkroom' techniques are enough! :-)

Nar, still pretty much a simple person...PSing like doesn't really take that long. The natural one that looks like it hasn't been photoshop, those are the one that take the longest.

The one of Kimberley and the Swords one would be more HDR than usual...but they are all created from one Raw file...so it isn't really a HDR.

HDR? har...just a straight shoot with a small flash with no diffuser and minimal photoshop. Just have to fine tune the balance of light a bit. I have other images that are SERIUS CASE OF HDR....hehehe.
