"As a painter and a photographer"
To paint light is the key of creating a beautiful and effective image. Through the lens or how an image is sketched or painted, it is key to understand the light that illuminates your subject. Being a painter has helped guide me through understanding composition and has further advanced me to become a more effective photographer. To conceptionally create an effective image whether it's a photograph or painting, a true artist understands the narrative and mood that needs to be expressed through composition and theme.
