First of all, I'd like to add that although I haven't worked with professional equipment, and 95% of what you will see in my portfolio is made with a Nikon Coolpix L1, sunlight, a house lamp, and christmas lights, I am now the proud owner of some professional lighting, diffusers, and reflectors and a new but used camera thanks to the kindness and generosity of friends. As soon as I feel that I am capable, I intend on updating with new images as I experiment with this set-up. Also, because of the kindness of others, I am now a VIP; I owe many thanks, mixed CDs, and love to those who believe in me. Thank you.

I have been passionate about photography for the last three years, however, I have only pursued photographing models within this year. Though I am not formally trained or educated, I believe I have a good eye, sense of style, and a uniqueness in what I am doing.

As a musician, a part of my goal is to capture emotion, convey emotion, and express my own emotions to the listener, and I translate this into my photography as best as I can. Rather, that too is a goal of mine; to be able to give to you, the viewer, an emotion, an expression of myself, perhaps even a story or a song in the image that you are seeing.

Right now, I am looking to build up my portfolio, gain more experience with actual models, and I am also looking for models who would be willing to work for trade. Basically, let me photograph you, and you in return will be given selected, edited digital re-sized copies of the images on CD.

Currently, I am working on atmospheric/mood photography - attempting to capture my small northern world, but with the way I view it, the way I see it from my experiences, emotions, and personal history. Sometimes, this vision will be dark, and in other instances, I will share with you my light. My work is evolving, and with it, so am I. Keeping this in mind, I prefer to do most of my work outdoors, using the vastness of the prairies, and rural decay as a backdrop. Also, I have started a small collection of vintage clothing and nightgowns in various colors of which I can offer as wardrobe, if needed.

32nd MM Photographer of the Week for 7-12-09



I have been picked twice for Renderosity's "Last Week in the Gallery" which features 30 different photos that the editors choose. It's my second time being chosen, and I feel quite honored.

I also took first place at shotaddict.com's "spooky photo contest", and third place at photoenter.com's photography contest. I have had my work featured on business cards, sold in an auction to raise money for a local women's shelter, and I have done some paid portrait work as well.

I have had my first gallery show on Friday the 13th of November 2009. It featured my work, as well as the art of  DPX, Chad Ruin, Dragonfly Art, Fuzzy Focus dos Manos, and Michael-Candace Magoski.



I am also extremely excited for the opportunity given to me for this upcoming shoot in May 2010. I will be collaborating with Temna Fialka for the Collection "Ortega" Spring 2010 - Snake skin leather torso pieces, arm and leg formed pieces / belts and layered chiffons and silks.

Due to the lack of availability of actual models in my area, this list is short. However, as interest in my work continues to grow, opportunities for lengthening this list are occurring despite my locale.
