MY LATEST PET PROJECT:



My planned Leica Camera Homage to one of my personal idols
(and yes it's so true we BOTH share Birthdays! *December 3rd*) ~ the French New Wave Cinema`s greatest director
  Jean-Luc Godard, and in honoring his 1962 Film masterpiece
"Vivre sa Vie: Film en Douze Tableaux"
("My Life To Live: A Film in Twelve Scenes")
starring  Godard's then wife and on screen muse' Anna Karina.

"Vivre Sa Vie" is the story of a Parisian wannabe actress named Nana, who after several failed attempts to find acting work, drifts into the seedly sorted life of prostitution,  a determined but hopelessly lost young woman who's life ends in tragedy.....it is one of Godard`s best BUT often unseen films.



So I`m looking for that sexy black haired "bobbed" Anna Karina look for this shoot, I will provide all the wardrobe to be done in stylish early 1960's "Euro" posh/casual , I even have REAL vintage French cars to work into this production as well.



ATTENTION!  ~ I also want three or four MALE models and an additional three or four FEMALE  models for fitting in differnet roles.

And I'm STILL SCOUTING locations from Gainesville to Tampa/Ybor/Plant City, Orlando and possibily St. Augustine or Miami for the right early 1960's atmosphere ~ fellow Photographers imput would be helpful

I started photographing Retrospective images in Germany in the early 1990's, I moved back to the USA in 1996 and have settled here in central Florida.

I'm currently the only Retro Photographer  in the United States who is shooting exclusively in real film using vintage Leica cameras and shooting digital media with a Leica M8, using vintage ~ Leitz/Leica - Carl Zeiss Jena - Canon - and Nippon Kogaku/Nikkor/Nikon camera lenses together with the support of a $15,000+ wardrobe of vintage clothing, and various extremely talented local based  Hair and Makeup Artists.

Here's A Little Something About Who's Influenced Me and My Style

My style Influences come from many different sources......

I have loved and collected Vargas and Petty Girl Prints and Calendars since I was 12 years old also vintage 1950's and 60`s  "girlie" magazines, vintage cameras, clothing and props
and I've always admired work from these famous Photographers of the original PinUp Glamour/Camera Club era and beyond,  namely....... Peter Gowland, Bill Hamilton, Bunny Yeager,  Ron Vogel, Russ Meyer, Serge Jacques, André Belorgey, Roland Carre, George Harrison Marks, Irving & Paula Klaw, John Willie, Eric Kroll  and last but certainly not least the late great Elmer Batters......there's also the fact that vintage cinema has had a great influence on my personal style, derived in works from English Director Carol Reed and French New Wave Directors Jean-Luc Godard and François Truffaut, then add this all up with  my personal love for everything Retro and like a good martini blend together and shake very well and this is what I call
