Born at 19th March 1964, Amadeu Vilaça, shown, ever since his childhood, a strong relation with Arts. At the age of 15 he was doing replicates of Max Ernst’s paintings and BD projects, under the supervision of Profº Mário Roseira.
On his early twenties join a nucleous of young writers, who wrote for a newsapaper inserts known as the DNJovem, in Diário de Noticías. Followed a period of 3 years as a broadcast producer, at Rádio Geste, writing and producing radio forecasts such as Rockháutica and Robin dos Roques.
The need for a regular job, led him to entering the record industry. The next 15 years he worked for Valentim de Carvalho, started as a shop manager, moved to supervisor, overviewing staff activity in 28 shops and the launch of new units, up to commercial manager. Simultaneously, he applied successfully for a degree in Philosophy at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, which sorrowfully and due to schedules incompatibility couldn’t complete.
In 2006 iniciated his professional studies in Photography, at Instituto Português de Fotografia. He’s a certificated professional photographer since March 2008. Between 2009 and 2010, after his studies at Instituto de Medicina Tradicional, he becomes a certificated professional masseur.
