Nick Maimone

The source of my photography is Visions and ideas.
I start raw, with nothing in front of me and construct an idea from scratch, which
often ends up scribbled on random scraps of paper
that eventually translate onto film.
I try to use minimal light, to create the moods in my photographs.

Lately I have been doing a conceptual series of photographs of war veterans.  This series will later become a book.
