The name is Thomas Gordon. My photography site is known as Gordon'sLife Photo but here on MM I use the old tag keldar which came from my e-mail back in college.

In addition to being a photographer, I am a lot of things: Father, husband, soccer coach, college mentor, blogger. I study Wing Chun Kung Fu, and my kids study another style but we all do martial arts. I am well read and fairly well educated and can talk your ear off if you let me. :-)
My main gig is contract negotiation for a healthcare company BUT my love is photography. That is where I get my creative side going and fulfill that need in me. By training, I am a stock photographer in the Hampton Roads area, but I also shoot other styles and am also a freelance photographer for the following companies:

In addition, I have been accepted as a contributor to Getty Images (11/2008) but that portfolio just started and is a work in progress.
I am always looking for new models to work with so if you are looking to get started in this business give me a shout and I will see what I can do. New models always welcome.
That being said, I strongly prefer to shoot without husbands or boyfriends looking over my shoulder, models can of course bring along unobtrusive escorts that do not stay on set. However, I would much rather you just contacted any of the models or photographers that have worked with me and/or checked references.
Regarding minors, I insist upon meeting or speaking to a parent or guardian, and actually prefer them to stay on set with the child.
I NEVER shoot without a signed model release. No model release no shoot. Also if you schedule and then blow me off for a shoot, don't expect to shoot with me again... and for the record a cell phone call or text message cancelling an hour before because you stayed out late drinking and can't get your butt out of bed does not cut it.
