For starters, if I sent you a friend request, it's because I really like your look and I'm interested in working with you. Read on please...
I've been modeling for 11 years, I've shot with 52 different photographers, with 87 different female models, for 115 portfolio and stock shoots. My resume/experience can be seen on my modeling website (
www.JimmyThomas.com) where it lists all the photographers and female models I've worked with, as well as how many times with each, for references.
For the female models reading this... I own and run a stock image website specific to the romance novel industry and am continually looking for beautiful girls/women to shoot with for novel covers. I am the male model in all the photos on my portfolio on here and on my stock site, I'm not a photographer, so please don't say that you have a great-looking boyfriend or husband that you would love to shoot with for novel covers. Sorry, but my stock site has only one male, and that's me

but various females of course, from all different hair colors, ethnic backgrounds, heights, even sizes as I have calls for plus size models, and all ages as I also have calls for 'mature' female heroines as well.
As for compensation, I give the female models 20% of all our image sales, as well as a few images that you've selected for your portfolio... and you'll be on MANY romance novel covers guaranteed! One model I've shot with is now on 36 romance novel covers with me just from ONE of our Sensual/Erotica shoots, another is on 14 covers with me, another on 9, another on 8, etc., and their numbers climb weekly!
Sensual/Erotica and Renaissance images are the most popular and most purchased, but my current requests are for Regency, Highlander, Vampire and Pirate, which is what I'm currently shooting. So that we are on the same page, we would go from elegant outfit of historical or contemporary romance to sensual images of you in lingerie, and me shirtless, to you usually (not always) topless with you and me covering you with your hair, hands, arms, my hands, arms, chest, body or bed sheets, and me down to my underwear.
No nudity would ever show in the images, it's all implied; again, all is covered by mine and your hands, arms, legs, body, your hair, if something is showing the photographer will tell us so that we can cover it up somehow before he/she takes the photo), and all shots are done with either forbidden expressions or heat and passion in the expression and implied kissing, similar to these images:

If you have a jealous boyfriend or husband who doesn't take your modeling as a career/profession, but more as a hobby, and doesn't 'allow' you to pose with males during shoots (eyes rolling), then I'm sorry, but take a look at any fashion magazine and see that most fashion clothing ads are sexy couple-shots, many implied topless, or all relationship articles that are romantic or arguing couple-shots. Just like Renaissance, Regency, Western, Vampire, Detective, etc., shoots all have specific wardrobe for those images, Erotica's wardrobe is lingerie and nude. I didn't make the rules, I just enforce them

and it's a career, not a date.
Also, if you need a lot of make-up to cover bad skin then this isn't for you, as make-up for novel cover shoots is very minimal, soft and light. Your face needs to show, not what you look like painted like a fashion model in 2009, and your hair needs to be long and preferably full without dark roots if you're blonde. Stock images can't be dated with fads, hairstyles or fashion, so tattoos that can't be hidden easily, won't work either (unless you have an exceptional look and amazing eyes, then we can do more contemporary edgier stuff, along with vampire and futuristic and mercenary shots as well).
My most preferred (not mandatory) are models with full lips, blue or green eyes, and at least a C-cup, so that images like my B&W image in my port (on the edge of the bed) can be achieved (mind you she's a DD, but you get the point, anything smaller than a C-cup and we'd be limited. Not saying we can't still shoot together, just saying we're limited as our arms and hands have to constantly be trying to cover your nipples since we can't be chest to chest if you're an A or B cup, otherwise our faces would be against each other

But yes, we can still shoot if you have a great look for covers, we would just have to make the covering as natural as possible and not like we are trying to cover you, as these images are to be as if the reader is peeping through a window watching us, where we certainly wouldn't be covering you if the situation was real.
If you're interested in shooting cover images with me, send me a message ASAP and tell me which images of yours are most current, especially with you girls who have 10 different hair colors and lengths in your portfolio and don't even write what your CURRENT hairstyle is (eyes rolling

). I need to know this as there are certain looks that go better with certain hair colors, lengths, fullness, etc. Also send me your email address that you check regularly, as many of you only come on here every week or so, and your phone number.
And please let me know that you read all of this and that you are okay with all of it before saying that you're interested.
Thank you
