BIOGRAPHY
My name is Shantia Dobson. I am twenty one years old and I am a native of the island best known as the land of "wood and water" for its vast supply in raw materials such as coal, metal and petroleum. It is the island also known for its crystal clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, some of the world's most exquisite arts, vibrant and intellectual people, along with sizzling cuisines. Can you tell me what island I am describing? I am describing the beautiful island of Jamaica. Growing up I've traveled to many places. I used to reside in Summerville, South Carolina so apart from being West Indian, I am was also raised with Southern Hospitality. I graduated at the top twentieth percentile of my senior class with a 3.0 and an academic scholarship. I work part time as a Children Photographer and I am enrolled in college full time with the pursuit in majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. I would describe myself as candid, a perfectionist, career oriented, a self motivator, and spontaneous as I enjoy new challenges and experiences. I am also a really assertive person, but I tend to observe unfamiliar people and surroundings before I get fully acquainted. I decided to become a member of the site through a close friend as he is a professional model with experience. He suggested the Model Mayhem website, that I had no prior knowledge about, for additional exposure;Nonetheless, modeling has always been a passion of mine as a child as I have taken part in various casting calls and beauty pageants in various states. I would describe my style as elegant, trendy, high fashion mixed with urban and sex appeal.
Since being a member on Model Mayhem, I was contacted by Camille Widly, CEO of Prettycitypromotions LLC. Prettycitypromotions is a full fledged promotion company, with a division for models. These exceptionally beautiful models work with djs, magazines, clothing lines, we host and attend exclusive parties, and push a product to create awareness and promote sales. I still continue to have a strong relationship with the CEO and Models; however, due to unforeseen circumstances we are all working on our own career paths at the moment.
