Friends (30)About Me
I've been into photography since I was about 16 years old. I got my real start as a photographer for the annual/newspaper staff when I was in high school where I also learned what it was like on the processing sie of the lens. Yes, that means I can process my own film and prints even though I shoot digital now. It also means I can detect Kodafix solution by smell for a five mile radius, lol.
I have always been fascinated by the human female form and its multitude of variances and the intracasies of it's various adjustments, alignments and positions and how everything works to compliment everything else. Being the son of an engineer, I learned early on that if you can simplify something, you make it's design stronger. Being that the female form is so interesting to me, I also learned early that no matter how you try, the engineering marvel called woman is already as strong as it can because she cannot, in any way be simplified without ruining the entire form and function. When shooting women, I try very hard to find something magical that no one has ever noticed or remains hidden and bring it out. My goal is to bring out the beauty in every woman while sometimes still retaining a hint of mystery that makes her unique. In my life, I've adopted a few mottos that seem to characterize my thoughts, habits and personality: "I'm trapped in a world I didn't create" "I'f I'm going to get blamed for it, I might as well do it." And the most important one: "There's no such thing as an ugly woman, just different levels and perceptions of beautiful." At this point, I'm concentrating on furthering my art, building my portfolio and helping others build there's. If you're interested, give me a shout and we can get together over a cup of coffee, look at each other's portfolio's and see if we can help each other out. I sometimes pay models depending on experience and what I need but, I'm a starving artist so when I do pay, it's usually not much but I compensate by providing the model with material that she can use to further promote herself. I'm also currently looking for models for an upcoming internet based ad campaign. This shoot will require artistic nudity. I am also looking for models available for nude/implied nude, glamour, fetish, fine art, and figure study sessions. TFP/TFCD works for me as long as we both get something that can build our portfolios from a shoot. Verified Credits (0)Worked with Mike Weston Photography? Share your experience and become verified!
