My name is Danielle Smith & I'm currently aged eighteen. I want to take photos for a living! Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time now, and I'd love to pursue it as a career.

Mainly, I want to specialise in Music and Portrait photography, as for one I love music and two I enjoy making people look pretty :)

I don't put my photos on MySpace as I end up seeing them scattered all over the Internet with no credit so please look at my Flickr :) I'm currently working on building up my portfolio by getting out there and actually taking photo's so keep your eyes peeled for bigger and better projects!

I currently shoot with a Nikon D40, and various lenses. I use Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Lightroom to edit my images. In the next few weeks I'll be upgrading to a lovely Nikon D300, Photoshop CS4 and will also have a brand new Mac to work with your lovely images on, so yeah ;)

I am from Derby and I will travel to nearby surrounding areas (Nottingham, Birmingham). If I'm needed to travel any further then I will need the expenses to be paid for in advance. The price of your shoot will depend on the size / type of it. I'm not a professional so I won't overcharge you, but I will charge a tiny amount (we all have to get somewhere!).

Live Shots: I'll expect your band to pay for my entry fee (if there is one) and £10.00 for the initial shots. It's really not alot of money between a band of four people for example.
Promo Shots: £20.00 for a shoot on one location of your choice, and is less than 1 hour 30 mins. £30.00 if the shoot is longer than that. You will receive high quality images suitable for promotional purposes.
Anything else: Tell me your ideas and I'll get back to you with my rates!
Also, as I'm a photography student at Burton College, I can get access to the studio there. If you require studio shots, you will have to let me know well in advance as it is often fully booked!

I DON'T WORK FOR FREE!
I need to earn my living just as much as you need the photo's!

Although, if I feel that the shoot is going to be beneficial to my portfolio, I may work on a TFP/TFCD basis, but only if I say so myself.
