About me

I am 23 year old and pursuing fashion design in the beautiful state of Kentucky. I have been blessed with the ability to design clothing. This is something that I have been doing since I was a young teenager and since then I have never looked back. I received sewing lessons from my grandmother from the time I was 8 years old then went on to further my education at the International Academy of Design and Technology, Nashville and the University of Kentucky. In my life I have had the opportunity to have some amazing mentors and friends who have shaped me as a designer and a person. My design style is a balance between my eye for vintage and my desire to progress fashion into a new and modern direction. It is important to me that I create garments that are environmentally responsible with a minimal effect on our planet. One of my most exciting endeavors has been forming my business with partner, Pilar Marite. We have developed our line "Penny Royale" a vintage and artfully inspired line of women's lingerie, swim wear, and sleep wear.
