My love of photography began while still a boy in Harare. I used to sneak into my father’s office and play with the cameras in his bags. On my 16th Birthday I received my first camera a 35mm rangefinder (Helena) from my sister. I was hooked. This fascination has led me on a 20+ year journey as a professional photographer. I have been blessed to have been under the guidance of the late R.A. Muronda (my father) a renowned portrait photographer. Who in 1948 paved the way for black photographers by being the first African to open a portrait studio in Salisbury, Rhodesia (what is now known as Harare, Zimbabwe) and an older brother a writer/filmmaker.
I received my formal training and education in Harare, Zimbabwe and Temple University in Philadelphia. My love for photography has inspired me to see beauty in everything I photograph.
I'm part of husband and wife team who love to create beautiful, contemporary and memorable moments for our clients. Our work demeanor is professional yet refreshingly laid back and assures an enjoyable shooting experience for the client while empowering the most reserved personality to be comfortable and confident in front of the lens. Equally dedicated to the creative process, no stage in a project's conceptualization or development is beyond our imaginative ability.
