Tracy has made the world turn with her east indian looks and her west indian attitude...as if to say, "look at me."
Date: Febuary 14 (Valentine's Day)
Setting: Brooklyn, New York
Tracy Lall Dass was born to West Indian parents, natives of the Caribbean paradise...better known as Trinidad and Tobago. Her stay in the United States would be short lived as her family returned back to their island home. Her birth was merely an introduction to the American culture. The life of the Lall Dass family was more fortunate than most of a third world country...but it still was not reason enough to stay. By the time Tracy was three years old, crime rates increased tremendously with in her country. It managed to push a majority of her family to South Florida where the shock of the American culture set in. Rasing a Caribbean family of east indian decent being brought up in the western world was a true challenge for Tracy's parents.
"My house was like little Trinidad. Going to school was like visiting America on a daily basis. It was amazing to have the best of all worlds." ~Tracy~
In class Tracy was unbarebly quiet...yet many teachers paid close attention to her. She still could not blend in. Being tested as a gifted student with an IQ of 135 at the age of ten years old, Tracy was immediately pulled from her normal school and put into a gifted program. Tracy continues her education today as she is due to complete her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Florida Atlantic University. Once again she surprises the world with an unstoppable combination of beauty and brains.
Tracy was also well schooled in the area of dance. She had the honor of being drilled by the likes of Donna "Tarfa" Smith, whose family of Lebanese decent, opened the very first Middle Eastern dance company in New York City, the capital of the arts. Tracy is an accomplished dancer with an emphasis on East Indian and Middle Eastern dance forms. The basics of ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, and even hip-hop have all been a factor in Tracy's "tweaked" dance style. Her movements merely sample each dance form to create a unquie blend of the art.
"All I want to do is PUSH the artform." ~Tracy~
At the age of twenty two...Tracy plans on dipping her hand into the buissness world...where I am sure she will surprise us in yet another way.
