About me

My name is Pamela Barber Grieco and I am a professional freelance makeup/hair artist for film, TV, print, special events, special effects, and bodypainting (can be done with traditional brushes or airbrush). I have a Diploma in Makeup Artistry from the Blanche Macdonald Institute in Vancouver BC, and 5 years of experience in the industry!

I have always had a passion for makeup artistry even before I realized it was even a career option! As a child I started experimenting with makeup at a young age and after hours of playing and testing in the bathroom with my Mom's makeup, I would emerge to exclamations of "WoW! How did you DO that? Teach me!". And while my girl friends were playing with barbie dolls I would be creating fake bruises, scars, and cuts on myself, or brewing up a new fake blood recipe for my Mom's first aid events.

Artistry has always run thick through my veins and after graduating college and attending a couple years of university, I decided I needed to embrace it fully and packed up everything I owned and moved to Vancouver where I went to makeup school.

Since that time I have had some incredible experiences and met scores of amazing creative and FUN people! I look forward to meeting and working with you too!
