i really enjoy photography. the fact that i can make money doing what i love is really something special to me. i go into every shoot looking to have fun first, hopefully get a few really intense photos, and make a connection for future shoots. i am always looking to shoot...tf allows me to try out my ever-growing list of photoshoot concepts.

locations turn a shoot from good to great...and i have discovered some great locations. as a former real estate agent with a network of agent-friends, i have access to some pretty amazing places, although some of my favorite settings are forgotten tenement basements and vacant factories and warehouses (occasionally requiring a little breaking and entering...a dose of adrenaline before a shoot never hurt anyone). i welcome and appreciate input and ideas from my models, so if we're shooting together, please feel open to add your ideas to mine...two heads are better than one.
my professional focus is in glamour, fine art, portrait, real estate, and film set photography; my leisure follows landscapes and photo-storytelling.
i am fluent in photoshop and illustrator, and implementing these applications in photo restoration, color-correction and photomanipulation. i am proficient in hdr (high dynamic range) imaging and tone mapping.
*i request that every model i work with produce a photo id and fill out a model release form at shoot time. if you want time to review the release form in advance, just ask and i'll gladly email it.
**i will deliver all photos from our shoot within 48 hours via electronic delivery (i upload them to a private link on my website). ask any model i've worked with and they'll tell you i ALWAYS follow through on this. my environmental consciousness prevents me from burning endless cds...i hope that's cool.
i shoot with a canon 5d mark ii and l-series glass. i work mostly with natural light and unconventional sources.
