I'm a freelance Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist based in mid-coast Maine. I take on interesting projects around Maine and New England.
I've been dabbling in makeup and hair since I was a girl, and love what I do! Taking a concept from visualization through the process of transformation and completion is exhilarating – I’m passionate about making models look and feel beautiful! I love to team up with creative photographers and other artists for unique assignments. Let’s talk about your ideas!
Vintage looks are my latest infatuation – especially 1940's & 50's Pin Up styles. I'm all about capturing a moment in time - whether it's from the Flapper era, or 60's Mod, 70's Hippie or Disco! I greatly appreciate a natural look too, and I have several ways of creating clean, simple looks suitable for a fitness shoot, a “nature” scene, or an intimate boudoir session. I style both hair and makeup, and I can deliver period glamour, or uncomplicated allure! Whether one model needs to nail a single look, or a team of girls need a couple of looks each for a shoot, I’m up for it.
Also: I have a passion for vintage clothing, accessories, antiques and more. Ask me about participating in wardrobe assembly and set decoration! If you have a theme in mind, I might be able to help. Challenge me!
I’m looking for new projects here in Maine, but I am also available to travel, with appropriate notice and expenses covered. My rates are reasonable, and are based on the location and the demands of the shoot. I am VERY selective when considering a TFP project – but if you have something especially interesting that will add to my portfolio, I’m open to discussing it. All inquiries are welcome – my base rates are very fair.
