About me
Hi and thank you for taking the time to check out my page. My makeup career started over ten years ago working for a cosmetics line. It provided me with the opportunity to work on a variety of ethnicities and ages. I would say that I specialize in very clean beauty makeup, which has naturally led me to do bridal makeup (helps to pay the bills). However, I find myself really enjoying the collaborative process of a photo shoot. I'm on this site hoping to meet and network with other industry professionals whom I can create some amazing images with.
Me in a nutshell:
professional, reliable, drama-free, down to earth, flexible, perfectionist, detail oriented, patient, and an all around good, genuine person. I care very much about my reputation as a makeup artist and plan on making this my full time career somehow, someway.
I moved from the DC area a year ago and I have been working my tail off on TFP shoots. I am now only doing select TFP work (magazine tears and if you're a photographer that I've seeked out). If you contact me about TFP work, there will be a reasonable kit fee. Sorry, but free doesn't pay my bills or for the quality makeup products that I use in my kit. A rule that I have: If you're getting paid, then I should be getting paid, too.
My rates are very reasonable and I'd be happy to give you a quote after you provide me with details of the job - date, time, location, concept, number of looks or hours you would need me, etc.
