If you are a new model looking to introduce yourself to agencies, you must have " Polaroids" to submit -they demand them.
Polaroids are images of models that are authentic representations of themselves. The images are NOT heavily edited/retouched/Photoshopped -nor are they elaborately styled in regards to clothing, makeup and hair. In fact, the more plain and simple -the better. Agencies know what can be done in Photoshop and want to see the raw you -the potential in you.
Although you can technically shoot your own Polaroids - it makes sense to make a minimal investment in yourself and hire a professional photographer.
What agencies want:
Barely any Makeup -if any at all.
Simple clean/brushed hair.
Simple shots of you in a tank-top and jeans.
Simple standing bikini
Simple shorts and a t-shirt.
What agencies DON'T want:
Alot of MU/hair styling.
Heavily styled look.
Bikini shots that are overly sexy/suggestive.
Daisy-Dukes and a cut-off shirt.
I'm very easy to collaborate with and give direction (if needed/wanted) in a completely stress-free and casual environment. You can bring whomever you'd like to the shoot -your comfort is the utmost importance and will show in your images.
