Living in a rural town, I find myself unique amongst the photographers here. My creative post processing is edgier than most, so if you want something really different, give me a shout. I am willing to trade for print to increase my skills (and hopefully yours!). I usually have Saturdays and Sundays free, so let's get rockin'!
I specialize in unique portrait photography, combining creative post-processing and traditional techniques. This is your chance to go wild, to find your inner child, your wild side, or even your romantic muse. Have something edgy in mind? Great! Let's talk! Want to just practice your posing? Let's do it! No pressure and I don't judge you. Bring an escort if it makes you comfortable. Any ages, any shapes. Everyone is beautiful to my artistic eyes. I am sensitive to all lifestyles and body limitations.

I offer to shoot in any outdoor location in or around Ridgecrest.
MODEL PORTFOLIO INFORMATION:
Beginner models welcome. Bring your enthusiasm and eagerness to try new things. I do not provide a makeup/hair artist. If you have an MUA you'd like to bring, I'd love to meet them! If you are wearing makeup to the shoot, make sure you bring your supplies with you for touchups. Be prepared to get crazy. Don't wear something that you will be heartbroken about if it gets dirty or torn. Have a prom/wedding dress you want to trash? Let's go to the lake and get it dirty! Let's talk!
ABOUT MARIAN MURDOCH:
Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, I traveled across the United States trying to find an area which spoke to my quirky, artistic soul. I thought I found it in the Pacific Northwest and was delighted to explore every inch of it with my camera and sketchbook. However, with so many rainy days, there were few opportunities. Now, in Ridgecrest, CA, rain isn't my enemy, ha!
My Nature/Wildlife photography work has been used by the Seattle Aquarium and the Washington Ornithological Society and has been purchased by customers throughout the United States, as well as Canada and the UK. Some of my work has been donated to various charities, including one in New York to raise money to further breast cancer research.
