I'm a professional that increasingly shoots self-generated projects. I shoot film with medium format Hasselblad and 35mm. In contrast to digital photographers that shoot hundreds of images, I usually shoot 2-3 medium format black and white rolls in a short amount of time. Its a relatively quick approach. Models get bored after only a couple of hours. I do, too.
I do not shoot studio and need the variety of varied locations. Typically, I travel to the model.
Photos shown here are representative examples of how I shoot, not the latest. I seldom update.
Explaining how I shoot is a challenge for me. Though I work with interesting and beautiful models, I try to avoid standard approaches, whether it be standard beauty, catalog, or regular glamour. But I do work with models that fit into these categories.
Click though to my personal website to see more of my photographs. Email me if you want to work with me. Its fine if we decide not to shoot together. Afterwards, we'll still be friends. But everything begins with a conversation.
I keep a list of models that contact me that I can contact when I travel their area.
I try to make the session as convenient for the model as possible.
