I'm a professional that has increasingly moved towards self-generated projects.
Photos shown here are representative examples of how I shoot, not the latest. I seldom update.
Explaining how I shoot is a challenge. Though I work with interesting and beautiful models, I try to avoid the formulaic approach, whether it be standard beauty, catalog, or run-of-the-mill glamour. To this end I do work with models that fit into these categories. But I want to shoot them in different ways.
Click though to my personal website to see more of my photographs. Email me if you want to work with me. Its fine if we decide not to shoot together. Afterwards, we'll still be friends. But everything begins with a conversation.
I keep a list of models from various locations that are interested in working with me that I contact when I travel their area.
In contrast to digital photographers that shoot hundreds of images, I shoot film - usually only 2-3 medium format black and white rolls in a short amount of time. Its quick. Its easy.
I try to make the session as convenient for the model as possible - typically traveling to the model to shoot, even locally.
