About Me

Hurry!  Well, you don't really have to be in a hurry.  But click thru to my website:  www.williamcrow.net

I'm a professional that shoots what I want. Some call this a fine arts approach.  My approach simple.  My present avatar was a model I met on the streets of Milan.  She was there to do a fur show.  We hung around with each other a few days.  I photographed her a few times during this brief period.  This shot was simply the result of my telling her to lay back on her kitchen table.  A one lightbulb fixture was above the table.  We knocked off a few shots.
Because of my relaxed shooting style I often find I have to deconstruct the modeling approaches of most models.  Most are use to posing in a stylistic manner. They strike this or that pose when all I want is something simple and real.  Once in a while I find models that understand and can relax.

I'm a film shooter that uses medium format and 35mm cameras.  In contrast to digital photographers that shoot hundreds of images, I usually shoot 2-3 rolls of film in fairly a short amount of time. Hopefully, its a spontaneous relaxed approach.   Models get bored after only a couple of hours.  So do I.
I don't shoot studio and need the variety of varied locations.  So, typically I travel to the model.

Photos shown in this profile are representative examples of how I shoot, not my  latest.  And I seldom update.
Explaining how I shoot is difficult.  As mentioned, I look to work with interesting and beautiful models.  I try to avoid the ever popular standard approaches, whether it be standard beauty, catalog, or regular glamour.  But I do work with models that fit into these categories.
Click though to my personal website to see more of my photographs.  Be in touch if you'd like to work with me.

I keep a list of models that contact me that I can contact when I travel to their area.
I try to make the session as convenient as possible for the model.

If interested...let's talk.

Commercial work and magazine shoots are done on occasion, though I much prefer shooting self-generated projects.
