I'm a professional that has increasingly moved towards a fine art, self-generated approach to shooting.
Photos shown here are representative examples of how I shoot. They are not the latest and likely have not been updated.
Explaining how I shoot is always a challenge. Though I work with interesting and beautiful models I avoid standard looks, whether it be standard beauty, catalog, and run-of-the-mill glamour. But I do look for models capable of glamour and fashion. I just want to use them in more unique ways. Also, real people/non-professional models that have interesting looks are of interest.

But everything begins with a conversation.
I keep a list of models from other regions that have shown interest in working with me and make efforts to work with them when I travel.
In contrast to digital photographers that shoot hundreds of images, I shoot film - usually only 2-3 medium format black and white rolls in a short amount of time. I try to make the session as convenient for the model as possible - typically traveling to the model to shoot.
