I design femininely tailored suits and red carpet worthy formals for the fashion forward woman. My garments feature quality fabrics and are constructed with passionate precision.
The iconic styles from the 1930s and 1940s are among my favorite inspirations. My designs are a blend of beautifully tailored ensembles that
accentuate a woman's curves, but allow her to move comfortably as she stops traffic!

Fashion design is my passion, because there is something
amazing in being able to watch a woman swirl in front of the mirror in her well designed dress and discover the beautiful girl within.

Started Sew Shop Designs in August 2000

* 2009 MakeWork Grant recepient, $15,000 career development award
* 2007 Finalist, "Designed for a Purpose Fashion Competition," Atlanta, Ga.
* 2006 - 07 Fashion Designer of the Year, Huntsville Council of Fashion Designers, Huntsville, AL.


I also teach sewing classes. I am now booking classes for fall/winter to everyone 9 years old and older. Classes last for 12 weeks and are $190 plus the cost of fabric for adults and children.

Sewing machines are provided. You will learn the basics of sewing, how to read a pattern and make a few things before Christmas.
