My goals on Model Mayhem are to showcase my designs, meet other designers, models, fashionistas, boutique owners, and people in the industry across the country for networking purposes and trading ideas. Although I am just starting in Atlanta I have hopes of being a world wide name. (Like everyone else right? :o) You have to follow your dreams.)
My influences come from numerous people. I admire and track the styles of anyone from Kim Kardasian to Michelle Obama, Katie Holmes, and everyday people just walking the streets whose style catches my attention and I feel that the style of my tops and dresses reflects that. I try to maintain a look of sexxiness, edgyness, and always class. My designs and clothing are clothes that can be worn on a beautiful summer day or a night out on the town with the girls.

DESIGNERS BIO (as seen on www.SegretValentin.Etsy.com):
The designer was born and raised in Germany and at this time calls Atlanta home. Although she never imagined she'd actually be making her own clothes she did have dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Unfortunately fashion school was expensive so instead she chose to pursue a business degree. On the brighter side of things she soon acquired the urge to start sewing and do less illustrating. Oddly enough it was a skill she picked up very quickly and without any instruction. She owes this to her mother who was always extremely creative and loved to sew, knit, and just create pretty much anything from scratch. It must be in the genes. Without any educational background in fashion and without the use of patterns the clothes you see are all created with pure creativity (with the help of the style of those around her) and natural talent(although she is constantly trying to improve her skills). Needless to say because she feels she's been passed down a gift from her mother the clothing line in turn was created and named Segret Valentin, after her mother.
