JELLIS PRODUCTiONS

My name's Jonathan Ellis.  I'm a young up and coming photographer that is constantly striving to reinvent my approach behind the lens.  Photography is one of the many ways I choose to express myself.  I started out shooting old school Nikon cameras from the 60's and eventually fell into the world of digital photography.  I've done work for major magazines such as DUB and SPIN, along with countless other studios, agencies, and production companies.  Feel free to check out my new portfolio site at JEALOUSPHOTOGRAPHY.COM

My shoots are always different, edgy, and most of all, fun.  They usually include killer music too, which always helps the nerves.  I've worked with newbie models AND industry veterans.  I enjoy both and I always love helping young models get there start and giving them constructive advice.  I can pose you from head to toe, or if you're comfortable with posing you can do your own thing.  All of my shoots have atmospheres surrounding them which are meticulously planned and enhanced by dramatic lighting setups.  A lot of my lighting concepts come from film sets which I've had the pleasure to work on with a variety of different Creative Directors, DP's, and Producers.

I'm a very creative individual which is here above all else to create great art through expression and individualism.  I'm laid back and super easy to work with and I always love bouncing ideas off of whomever is involved in my shoots.  I believe successful shoots are a collaboration between me and whomever else is participating in the shoot (MUA, Models, Stylists, etc...).  Looking forward to working with you.

My rates are more then reasonable.  I'm open to limited TF work as my schedule permits. If you have ideas, then I have ears.  If you have good ideas, then I'll make the time.  My only creative limitation are my clients themselves.
